What Is Wool Online?
Wool Online is a web-based selling platform that New Zealand Wool Exporters use on a weekly basis to purchase wool from New Zealand Wool Brokers and Independent Merchants. The system was first launched in 2009.
Since the 1980's several other digital wool selling systems have been developed and implemented, but ultimately Wool Online has become NZ's only trusted digital wool selling platform.
Wool Online Ltd, the company that has developed the platform, is a pioneering and fully independent joint venture between Wool Connextions Ltd and Golden Micro Solutions Ltd, which has been dedicated to revolutionising wool selling with a modern, cost-effective, and efficient digital platform.
Wool Online Ltd fully intends to remain an independent entity within the New Zealand wool industry, to ensure that all trading carried out on the platform is done in a fair and neutral way, in order to maximise the benefits of digital trading for all members of the industry, including growers.
